About Me *
I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Washington. Growing up, my mom, my sister and I loved to go on adventures—whether it was a basketball game or taking a trip to Disneyland. They've always been the most important people in my life and have shaped so much of who I am.
After graduating from high school, I moved to Utah to attend Utah Valley University, where I studied Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing. During my time at UVU, I had the privilege of completing the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World and participating in a study abroad experience in England and Scotland.
These adventures introduced me to people from all walks of life and deepened my appreciation for diverse stories, cultures and communities. Through every experience—whether abroad, on campus or in my community—I found myself continually drawn to connection and service.
That pull led me to education. I believe learning is one of the most powerful tools we have to create opportunity, confidence and change. Teaching allows me to combine my background in marketing and community engagement with my passion for helping students discover their voice, their purpose and their path forward.
